Around the Sun
50 minutes
Mark visually explores the ever-changing face of nature by making a photograph every
day of the calendar year. The result is a unique and inspirational diary, consisting
of 365 images made entirely within the boundaries of his private sanctuary, a
30-acre natural habitat bordering the Looking Glass River in Shiawassee County,
Michigan. A wonderful musical score and prose-style narrative completes this very
introspective experience.
Island Spirit
21 minutes
After an invitation by the Isle Royale National Park Service to spend the early
springtime on the famed wilderness island, Mark created this artful program of his
humbling experience. From gathering loons to rare orchids, breathtaking sunrises to
fiery sunsets, the vernal moods of this northern paradise are all revealed in this
beautiful, one-of-a-kind presentation.
Showy Orchids
23 minutes
Accompany Mark on his continuing quest in search of native orchids. Mark invites
